Silca SuperPista Digital Floor Pump

Okay, close to £300 is a hell of a lot to pay for a pump but the SuperPista really is a thing of beauty and an absolute joy to use. A digital gauge means, whether you’re setting up MTB or cross tyres at super low pressures or ramping it up for the track, there’s zero guesswork. The gauge is top mounted for easy visibility but you can also set and audible alarm. The Hiro chuck head is multi award winning, fits into the smallest disc wheel apertures and is rock solid even at ultra high pressures. An ash wood handle, magnetic dock for the chuck head and a leather carrier strap are all features that blend form and functionality beautifully. A combination of a full metal piston design with a classic Italian leather plunger washer and German Ignus linear bearings make for a buttery smooth and powerful action that took just 24 strokes to hit 80PSI. The super stable wide base and the fact it’s a tall pump mean it’s not the most transportable but, if you own one, you’ll probably have a man to carry your kit for you!

I so wanted to find fault in the pump but I’m simply head over heels in love with it.
