Isobaa Merino 180 Long Sleeve Crew Baselayer

If ever there was a fabric that’s designed for combining activity with socialising, it’s Merino. You can spend a whole day working hard on the hills in it and then, if necessary, wear it to the pub too. Try that in a synthetic baselayer and you’ll soon find yourself sat in the corner on your own! This fine woven and lightweight top is ideal as a baselayer for all activities in cool conditions, as a standalone layer when things warm-up or as a casual top. The fit is reasonable athletic to facilitate wicking but not overly “superhero” to make you feel self conscious if wearing it in a non-active context. Since having it, the ultimate test was a 20-hour flight, followed, without washing, as a camping night-shirt for seven nights and then, because of a luggage mix up, wearing it out. There was no hint of a whiff, it stayed soft and comfy and the stripy design received plenty of compliments.

A brilliant Merino base for all activities, travel, camping and all “no-wash” adventures.
