Sealskinz Waterproof Warm Weather Mid Length Sock
Another weapon in the war on cold and wet feet. I’d slightly dispute the Warm Weather moniker given to these socks but, for spring days, they’re perfect. I’ve been especially grateful of them when mountain biking, either when splashing through puddles or when having to push my bike on a boggy section of trail. The mid length goes high enough to provide decent splash and spray protection and a reasonably snug cuff – as long as you get your sizing right – stops watery ingress from above. I found them to size quite large so, if you’re at the lower end of their sizing range, opt for a size down. Wearing them, you wouldn’t know you’re wearing waterproof socks. There’s no plasticky feel – in fact, with bamboo lining, they’re wonderfully soft. Your feet might get a bit sweaty if it gets properly hot, but breathability is pretty good.
Great socks that are perfectly suited to soggy spring off-roading.
